One weekend morning, Tony visited his elderly parents at their farm. They still grew vegetables and raised a few geese, living a simple and peaceful life.

In the evening, his father was organizing tools in a small wooden shed. Because the shed was far from the residential area, electricity was inconvenient, and his father was still using a flashlight for lighting.

At that moment, Tony had an idea. Having worked in the lighting industry for many years, he knew that solar energy was already widely used. Why not modify a traditional light and connect it to a solar panel? This would provide a wide, comfortable light source while saving on electricity costs.

This idea led to the creation of TECO’s first-generation solar Floodlight. It solved the lighting problem of the remote shed and, through the spread of the internet, gained recognition from many others with similar needs.

To bring free and high-quality solar lighting to more people, TECO was born. Since then, TECO has continuously developed a range of solar lighting solutions for courtyards, streets, and many other applications.
